Blast from the past : LG Ice Cream Smart
For the past few years, smartphone years to be exact, all the phones are pretty much the same. With a single large screen and a bar design. But when looking back a few years before this smartphone madness, phones/mobile phones has a lot more different design. The thing is that this trend has a slow effect on Japan/Korean market which still produce a bunch of elegant and great looking flip phones.
An for 2015, LG has announce a new flip phone called LG Ice Cream Smart. A somewhat continuation of the LG Ice Cream back from 2008. Because now it runs Android, so, well, obviously called Smart. 😀
This flip phone features a 3.5-inch 480 x 320-pixel display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip, an 8-megapixel rear camera, front-facing VGA shooter, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage with microSD support up to 32GB and a 1700mAh to power it. For software, it runs Android 4.4 KitKat along with LG’s own specialized software.
It also has a special button just for launching KakaoTalk, a messaging app that’s particularly popular in South Korea.
While it might get your excitement up, unfortunately there’s a little chance that this phone will see the light outside it’s home country.
With that being said, i’ve got too words for it, DAMN IT!
