LG G4 : Smartphone not for Vegan
So, the LG G4 is officially annouced with it’s beastly spec. But hey, the first time that takes your attention is not the internals, it’s the design! Yes, this is maybe the first time EVER in smartphone history some manufacturer uses a leather for the back cover.
To emphasized on it, its an actual genuine leather which probably come from cow or whatever animal skin usually used for leather. 😛 And to give it a distinct look, it also natural vegetable-tanned and has a real stitching pierced through the leather. Whew, that’s something LG. Well of course there’re also option for “normal” plastic back cover with glossy diamond pattern.
And then there’s that beastly spec for geek/nerd. LG G4 has a QuadHD display but this time it uses a brand new Quantum Dot IPS Display which is a new technology for display. A Snapdragon 808 powered the G4 with 3GB or RAM and 32GB of storage. Another good news is that you can still swap the 3000 mAh battery and also a microsd card slot which are obviously needed. Why? because of the camera.
LG G4’s 16MP camera has an aperture of ƒ/1.8, complete with laser focus and a new color spectrum sensor to detect and match the best possible setting for your cam especially in Auto Mode. The best thing about this camera is that it has a full Manual mode like the one you might find on a DSLR plus a RAW capture capability. That’s why you better add a bigger storage if you’re planning on using those RAW images from the camera.
The G4 is available on its home, Korea as for today, but the rest of the world will need to wait a bit more. Possibly June or later. There is no word either on pricing for now.
