Xiaomi Note and Xiaomi Note Pro, not so affordable flagship from Xiaomi
As for today, Xiaomi unveiled a bunch of products which really interesting especially the phablet twin. Named Xiaomi Note and Xiaomi Note Pro, both of these carry a great specification and design. Powered by the all time great
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801, the Xiaomi Note packs a 5.7-inch Full HD display and weighs just 161g. It sports a curved glass front and rear. and has a rear 13-megapixel camera powered by SONY — which unlike the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, the thinner Note doesn’t have a protruding carriage for the rear shooter. It also has optical image stabilisation. Other specs include 3 GB RAM, 16/64 GB internal storage, dual-SIM functionality (microSIM and nana-SIM), dual 4G connectivity (FDD-LTE and TD-LTE) and a 3,000 mAh battery
Want more? the Note Pro variant has a 5.7-inch 2K display (2560 x 1440) with a pixel density of 515 PPI, octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC, a whopping 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and LTE Category 9 connectivity.
Then comes the price, Xiaomi Note will priced at RMB 2,299 ($370) for the 16 GB variant, with the 64 GB model set to launch for RMB 2,799 ($450). The Mi Note Pro will retail for RMB 3,299 ($530). Looking at the price, i think the Xiaomi Note was not “low-price, high-spec” anymore as they old flagship like Mi3 or Mi4. Now, these were priced “normally”.
